Como Parade

Como Parade is a premium boutique apartment development in Parkdale, expertly delivered by Contegrity with a focus on precision construction and architectural integrity. The project translates a refined low-rise residential vision into a finely executed three-storey boutique building that reads quietly within its leafy coastal context.

A key construction challenge was the sympathetic insertion of a contemporary medium-density form into an established beachside streetscape, demanding meticulous coordination of base build, finishes and landscape to maintain residential scale alongside neighbouring single-storey homes. The façade composes warm cream face brick to the lower two storeys, recessed dark bronze composite metal cladding to a stepped upper-level band, frameless glass balustrades with bronze top rails and timber-lined balcony soffits — each requiring detailed programming and tolerance control to ensure alignment, durability and seamless integration. A central landscape spine of kangaroo paw, lomandra, deciduous feature trees and bluestone paving was carefully phased to establish a generous shared courtyard between the two wings. Internally, every residence was finished to standalone-home standard: pale European oak engineered timber flooring, warm white plaster walls, bronze-framed glazing to deep balconies, custom joinery throughout and refined kitchens with stone benchtops and integrated European appliances — catering to a discerning downsizer market drawn to the bay.
