End-of-Lease Defit Works

Contegrity undertook the full defit and make-good of a former Victoria Police tenancy within Melbourne’s World Trade Centre, restoring the commercial office space back to base-building condition following lease expiry. The works involved demolition and removal of secure operational areas, workstations, ceilings, flooring systems and built-in joinery, together with decommissioning of specialist security infrastructure including access-control systems, CCTV, communications cabling and server-room equipment. Extensive service terminations and reinstatement works were carried out across electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and fire systems to meet landlord handover requirements. Due to the sensitive nature of the tenancy, the project required careful staging, secure handling procedures and close coordination throughout the strip-out process, ultimately delivering a clean commercial shell ready for future leasing.
