This gym project involved transforming a vacant, bare space into a fully equipped, modern, and bright fitness center. The facility now includes offices, meeting rooms, a large class studio, an equipment area, a reception area, accessible restrooms, and male and female changing rooms. Due to height differences in the original flooring, we installed two ramps with a 1:14 slope leading to the changing rooms, complete with tactile indicators at the start and end of each ramp to ensure compliance with Australian standards and strict adherence to DDA requirements.

A key focus of this project was ensuring adequate lighting and ventilation. The client desired a bright atmosphere, and efficient ventilation is crucial for any gym. Despite encountering unforeseen challenges during the construction process, including a lockdown, we maintained a professional approach and ensured client satisfaction. Through extensive coordination and adjustments, we successfully met the client’s opening schedule.
